The iPhone Dev Team just released updates to their cross-platform jailbreak and unlocking tools redsn0w and ultrasn0w, and while unlocks are definitely good news for folks who want to use an iPhone on non-sanctioned carriers, we’re wondering: Do you still jailbreak? Is it still worth it to you?
Many have been jailbreaking their iPhones since the very first jailbreak was available, but the necessity of jailbreaking continues to drop, starting with the introduction of the App Store, and more recently with the addition of push notifications (which make running apps in the background less necessary).
